The Historic,
Eastland Hotel was built in 1918 during the
"Oil Boom" as the Princess Theater and Stanley Cafe on
the 1st floor and the Stanley Hotel on the 2nd and 3rd
Floors.
Located in the Eastland Civic Center
and next to the Majestic Theater,
renovations
on the brown
building, began in 1995 to adaptively reuse
the
hotel structure. Most of the historical materials were
salvaged, cleaned, and reinstalled. Some of which
include the stamped tin ceiling tiles, clear pine trim
work, opaque snowflake glass interior windows and
soaking bathtubs.
The historic hotel now offers a
spacious lobby and conference room on the 1st
floor. and the backyard offers a private
courtyard with swimming pool. The 2nd floor has
8 guest rooms with king size beds, private
baths, heat & a/c units, and cable television. A
common kitchen is stocked with snack and
breakfast foods which are all complimentary. The
Eastland Hotel is 100% non-smoking.
